Features / Functionality
RFM subsystem RF short-range radios are attractive to original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) that wish to embed RF capabilities and communications within their products. These OEMs also typically possess RF engineering and networking expertise that enables them to incorporate low-power sensor networking capabilities as a feature within their product offerings, often to connect the devices they manufacture to each other and the Internet.

All RFM subsystem RF products feature small size, very low-power consumption, and excellent RF performance. Equally important is how RFM radio devices provide the system designer flexibility and fast time-to-market for their emerging applications. The breadth of frequency ranges covers both North American and international frequency bands for low-power data transmission.

Introducing 3G SAW-based Short-range Transceivers
  • More Power (10mW output)
  • Improved Receiver Sensitivity (Improved by 5dB)
  • New Modulation Format (DSSS)
  • Reduced Already Low Sleep Mode Current (200nA)
  • Internal Clock Recovery Feature
