About RoHS Compliance
The Directive on the restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment 2002/95/EC (commonly referred to as the Restriction of Hazardous Substances Directive or RoHS) was adopted in February 2003 by the European Union and became effective July 1, 2006.
This directive restricts the use of six hazardous materials in the manufacture of various types of electronic and electrical equipment:
- Lead (Pb)
- Mercury (Hg)
- Cadmium (Cd)
- Hexavalent Chromium (Cr6+)
- Polybrominated Biphenyls (PBB)
- Polybrominated Diphenyl Ether (PBDE)
REACH
RFM does not use any REACH Substances of Very High Concern (SVHCs) in it's products or packaging materials. Please refer to the RFM REACH Policy.
IPC-1752
RFM has incorporated the IPC-1752 Reporting Standard as its corporate material declaration reporting document. Please refer to the RFM IPC-1752 documents.
