Case Study: Remote Operation of Dangerous Machinery

A maker of large-scale tree and stump removing equipment had a basic but crucial safety need: Remotely controlling the on/off switch of a giant and extremely dangerous chipper. RFM’s 2.4 GHz WIT modules were selected for their range, for their low power consumption and long battery life, and for ease of integration into the chipper and a handheld remote.
