David M. Kirk
President and CEO
David Kirk was named President and CEO, as well as a member of the Board of Directors, in November 1999. Prior to this appointment, David had been Vice President of Marketing since June 1998. His goal is to use his engineering expertise and marketing talents to provide leadership in the coming years. Prior to joining RFM, David was a successful marketing executive for fourteen years, holding various positions at Murata Electronics North America, Inc. David holds a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Clemson University in South Carolina.

Joseph E. Andrulis,
Senior VP and
Group Manager,
Wireless Solutions Group
Joe Andrulis, Senior VP and Group Manager, Wireless Solutions Group, joined RFM in December 2004 as Vice President of Strategic Marketing. He was promoted to his current position in May, 2007. Mr. Andrulis has over 21 years of business experience in engineering, marketing and general management. His recent experience includes service as CEO and President of TelOptica, Inc., a Richardson startup, where he originally was Vice President of Marketing. Mr. Andrulis also served as Vice President, Strategic Marketing for Blue Wave Systems, Inc., a publicly held maker of carrier grade communications processing systems, and was an Associate at McKinsey & Co., a management consulting firm. Mr. Andrulis holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.

Darrell L. Ash
Senior VP of Technology
Darrell Ash, VP of Technology, is one of three co-founders of RFM. On March 1, 1979, Darrell co-founded RFM where he served as Vice President of Engineering until July 1995. Since that time, he has served in various capacities working on new technologies, including the new, miniature RF transceiver. Prior to founding the Company, Darrell was on the engineering staff of the Government and Industrial Group of Magnavox Company. He later served as a member of the technical staff with the Corporate Research Laboratories of Texas Instruments. Darrell received his Bachelor's in electrical engineering from the University of Evansville. He was then awarded a National Science Foundation Fellowship to attend Brigham Young University where he received his Master's in electrical engineering, magna cum laude. Darrell has 32 years of experience in the design of radio frequency filters, circuits, RF hybrids and systems. He has had 12 patents issued in his name on the application of SAW devices to circuits and systems. He has presented numerous technical papers on his work and is presently a Senior Member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE).

Harley E. "Buddy“

Chief Financial Officer
Buddy Barmes was named Chief Financial Officer in December 2001. Prior to joining RFM, Buddy was a Mentor at STARTech Early Ventures and a consultant to TeleCentric, Inc. Buddy hopes to contribute to the success of RFM with his financial, investor and systems experience. Previously, Buddy was a successful financial executive for twelve years, holding various positions at DSC Communications Corporation and Alcatel USA, Inc. Buddy holds a Bachelor's degree in Finance from the University of Mississippi.

David B. Crawford
VP Sales
David Crawford, VP Sales, is responsible for planning and establishing regional sales and marketing organizations and strategically enhancing sales in the highly competitive electronic original equipment arena. He has been with RFM since May 1999 when he initiated the strategic realignment of the sales organization to enable growth with strategic customers. His goal is to ensure customer continuity and add-on sales by "providing customer satisfaction in everything we do." Previously he held various positions at Kingston Technology, Hitachi America, and Signetics/Philips Corporation. Dave graduated with a Bachelor's degree from San Jose State University.

James P. Farley
VP and Controller
James Farley, VP and Controller, has been with RFM since November 1987 when he accepted the position of Chief Financial Officer. In October 1993 he became Controller; and four years later he was elected as Vice President, Controller and Secretary of the Company. Prior to joining RFM, Jim worked in several positions in the Midtex Division of Midland Ross for approximately 13 years. He was awarded a Bachelor's in accounting, from the University of Notre Dame and received an Master's in finance, from Cleveland State University.

Dr. Robert J. Kansy
VP Engineering
Dr Robert Kansy, VP Engineering, is responsible for the development of new products and new manufacturing processes as well as sustaining efforts for existing products and processes. He originally joined RFM in October of 1980, left for several years, and rejoined the company in January 1997. Bob introduced program management concepts that serve as the basis for RFM's QS 9000 Design Control element. This ongoing process is a major achievement that encompasses engineering, manufacturing, and quality assurance elements for the company. Bob earned a Bachelor's, a Master's and a Doctorate in electrical engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He is currently a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and the American Management Association (AMA).

Jon S. Prokop
VP Operations
Jon Prokop, VP of Operations, joined RF Monolithics in 1998. His initial work included the development of several key processes under very tight schedules, including solder sealing for our new generation products. As Director of Manufacturing Engineering, he initiated many cost reduction, process simplification, materials improvement, and yield improvement projects which had significant impact on our products. He was promoted to Vice President, Manufacturing in November of 2000 where his problem solving skills and management expertise continue to increase manufacturing capacity, improve yields, and reduce costs for both domestic and offshore product manufacturing. Prior to joining RFM, Jon led a group developing new ceramic technology at Sarnoff Corporation in Princeton, New Jersey. He was Director of Government Marketing and managed a group developing Tape Automated Bonding Technology at MCC in Austin, Texas. He also managed a number of different operations including Quality, Reliability, and Manufacturing Engineering at Cincinnati Microwave, in Cincinnati, Ohio. Additionally, he held a variety of manufacturing and technology development positions at Texas Instruments, Inc., in Dallas, Texas. Jon has more than 30 years experience in the electronics industry, and has been active in a number of professional societies where he has held several officer positions, including Board Chairman. He has developed and taught short courses on advanced electronic packaging technology. In addition, he has one patent and seven others pending, and is an internationally known speaker and author with over thirty papers and articles published to date, including two best paper of the year awards. He was also recognized by the International Electronics Packaging Society (now IMAPS) as Engineer of the Year in 1982.

William F. Caver
President of the Aleier subsidiary
William Caver, President of Aleier, was the co-founder of Caver-Morehead Systems, Inc. in 1992, the predecessor of Aleier. Mr. Caver joined RFM in September 2006 and is in charge of all software design and development. His leadership and vision has been the driving force and is responsible for producing one of the most advanced and flexible enterprise maintenance management software systems on the market. Mr. Caver began his career in accounting. He spent 14 years with BMW of North America where he was responsible for all construction and maintenance of North American corporate facilities. He came to Caver-Morehead from HDR, Inc. where he was Chief Operating Officer for Facilities Management. Mr. Caver holds two Bachelors degrees and a Master of Business Administration, all from the University of California, Los Angeles, where he graduated Cum Laude.

Robert M. Gemmell
President of the Cirronet subsidiary
Robert Gemmell, President of Cirronet, was previously Chairman and CEO of Cirronet prior to its acquisition by RFM and led Cirronet in ten consecutive years of profitable growth. Mr. Gemmell joined Cirronet in 1992 as vice president of marketing and sales, taking the lead in developing successful OEM partner channels and international markets. Prior to joining Cirronet, Mr. Gemmell career included consulting assignments for the Georgia Institute of Technology and over 100 startup companies, plus marketing management positions at General Electric and Intel. Mr. Gemmell holds two patents for telecommunications-related CMOS analog integrated circuits he designed in the early 1980s. During the 1970s, he developed spread spectrum technology for the NSA. Mr. Gemmell holds a bachelor's and a master's degree in electrical engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, and completed Duke University’s MBA program in 1985. He is a member of Georgia Tech’s Academy of Distinguished Engineering Alumni.
